GARY CRANE
Gary has spent his entire career mentoring and coaching managers and leaders. Over the years, he has devoted time to working with people who have a desire to continue their professional growth. Gary has extensive experience in strategic planning in the for-profit and government sectors which includes developing strategic plans, balanced scorecards and operational measures designed to manage organizations. His most recent senior leadership role was as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). In this role, he was responsible for the agency’s financial operations and supervised a staff of over 80 people. Under his leadership, the OCC was designated a best practice in Federal Financial Management. Before returning to Federal service, Gary was the Chief Financial Officer for Camco Financial Corporation, a publicly traded company with five banking subsidiaries.
Gary Crane is an experienced leadership coach with over twenty-years of executive leadership experience. He has coached senior leaders within the Department of Defense, Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Treasury, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the Department of Health and Human Services. He also coaches executives at the Harvard Business School in the Program for Leadership Development. Gary holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Leadership Coaching Certification from Georgetown University. He is also an ICF Certified Coach, a Board member of the Metro DC ICF Chapter, and a Certified Public Accountant.
